Hello and Bonjour Battle Bakers!
We’re thrilled to share the latest updates on Battle Bake! We’ve been hard at work finalizing the artwork, meticulously reviewing our written content, and refining every aspect of the game with our team. Everything is shaping up beautifully!
Translation Update
The French translation for the base game is complete, and we’re now focusing on translating the expansions. We’re partnering with Wabbit Translations, who boast an impressive portfolio, including some of the biggest video and board games. Their support has been nothing short of fantastic throughout this process.
Production Update
On the production front, we’ve made great strides with Panda Game Manufacturing. We’re in the final stages of rendering and submitting the game components, aiming for pre-production to begin as early as November.
Digital Versions Coming Soon
In other exciting news, Battle Bake will soon be coming to digital platforms! You’ll be able to play on both BoardGame Arena and Tabletopia. With production moving ahead smoothly, we’ll dive into the digital versions. This will allow everyone to explore character strategies and cause chaos in the kitchens before the physical release.
Conventions
A huge thank you to those who joined us at FallCon37 in August! It was our first time presenting Battle Bake publicly, and we couldn’t be more grateful for your support. While our next planned event is Canada Plays in April 2025, we’re open to suggestions for other conventions before and after that one. If there’s one you’d love to see us at, let us know!
Backerkit Survey Deadline Approaching
Finally, The Backerkit surveys have under a month before they need to be submitted, so if you have not done that yet, please do! Without that completed we will not be able to ship you your purchased copies. If you have not done this yet and need assistance or have questions - we are here to help in any way we can. We apologize for the recent silence, but we’re thrilled to share some exciting news! Significant progress has been made, bringing us closer to getting Battle Bake onto your game table. Thank you for your patience and support!
Fulfillment Agency Changed
We have some exciting news to share with you! After carefully considering your valuable feedback and suggestions, especially from our European backers, we've decided to change our fulfillment agency from EasyShip to Quartermaster Logistics.
Quartermaster Logistics comes highly recommended for their excellent service and reliability, and we believe this change will enhance your overall experience with us. Our goal is to ensure that you receive your Battle Bake games and expansions smoothly and promptly, no matter where you are in the world.
BackerKit Surveys Are Coming
This week, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s essential to respond to your survey as quickly as possible since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.
You do not need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the survey invite email, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.
Due to the volatility of shipping prices globally right now, shipping fees for this project will be calculated at a later date once we have the best estimates for everyone. We plan to enter & charge backers for shipping a month or two before fulfillment when we have better estimates of what it will cost to ship backers rewards. We will alert backers when shipping costs are finalized & before we charge your cards in your BackerKit survey. We will keep you informed all along the way!
If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://battle-bake.backerkit.com.
If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your crowdfunding account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address associated with your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact support at https://battle-bake.backerkit.com/faq.
After surveys are sent, if you did not receive the email, and you Signed in with Apple ID, your email address might be a private relay email address. We can help locate your survey and update your email address, please message us or post a comment with your Backer ID or Pledge # found on your confirmation. You can learn more about your email hiding for your Apple ID here.

Finalizing Art And Getting Ready For Printing With Panda
We have some exciting progress to share with you! Our talented artist has been hard at work, and we're thrilled to announce that the art for Battle Bake is nearly finalized. Each character, recipe, and game component is looking absolutely fantastic, and we can't wait for you to see it all!
In addition to finalizing the artwork, we've been in close contact with our manufacturer to ensure everything is on track for production. We're ironing out the final details to make sure Battle Bake is printed with the highest quality materials and craftsmanship.
